House of Automotive custom stage1 turbochargers for the P5AT 3.2ltr engine for PX1, PX2 and PX3 rangers.
Recommended as a factory replacement/upgrade for a PX1, but better suited for PX2 and PX3 model rangers to replace the 'weak as a toothpick' oem GTD2056 turbochargers. For the PX2/3 Rangers this is a huge improvement over factory and up to 27psi peak boost it is designed to run 150-200nm at the wheels over factory torque levels, as for rwhp we have seen an easy 40-50rwhp in different areas of the rpm curve. Both of which without causing any extra stress on the engine at all.
To answer the question you are already probably asking yourself or about to ask us, NO you DO NOT have to remove your DPF to run this turbocharger, it was solely designed by us to work WITH your DPF, to keep your car 100% legal and no trouble with the police or having to go over the pits!
Our turbos are completely rebalanced to better standards than oem, housings machined to fit our custom point milled, curved compressor wheel, fitted with a 360 degree thrust bearing to ensure a long life at increased boost levels well past what the oem PX2 and PX3 turbos are even capable of.
It also comes complete with an electronic actuator that has been calibrated after all upgrades have been completed to ensure 100% correct vnt position relative to what the ECU commands. Not having to rely on your aged, worn and unreliable original unit just bolted onto the side without checking any calibration parameters.
